Modern LED lighting and further renovation in the Park & Ride parking garage

At the end of last year, Parkhausbetriebs GmbH completed its planned conversion of the lighting in the Park & Ride parking garage to modern LED technology with motion sensors. The use of energy-efficient lighting not only significantly reduces electricity consumption, but also makes a further contribution to climate protection. The measure was funded by the Municipal Investment Program for Climate Protection and Innovation (KIPKI).
Work began last year on repainting the interior of the first three floors. The work will continue as planned over the Easter period on the other floors. The aim is to complete the entire project by the end of the third quarter. This will significantly enhance the interior of the parking garage, giving it a modern and well-maintained appearance.
"With the new LED lighting, we are permanently reducing energy consumption while improving the quality of the customer experience. Step by step, we are modernizing our parking garages and investing specifically in sustainability, safety, and a contemporary appearance," says Managing Director Stephan von Borzyskowski.
