Car sharing in Worms - how cars work today!

Parkhausbetriebs GmbH Worms and stadtmobil Rhein-Neckar are launching a car sharing cooperation. From September 16, 2024, an innovative and environmentally friendly mobility solution will be available to users of the multi-storey parking lots in Worms: A car sharing vehicle will be provided exclusively in the parking garage at the cathedral.

This collaboration enables the citizens of Worms and visitors to the city to access a car flexibly and cost-effectively without having to own their own vehicle. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the car-sharing vehicle can be parked around the clock in the parking garage at the cathedral. Here, users have a safe and secure parking space at their disposal - at no additional cost. With this offer, we want to provide our customers with maximum convenience and security. The parking garage at the cathedral offers ideal conditions for parking and collecting the car-sharing vehicle at any time of day or night.

The car sharing service is available to existing customers of Stadtmobil AG Rhein-Neckar as well as new customers. Interested parties can simply register online via the stadtmobil website, show their driving license once (for example on site at WORMSER) and then book and use cars independently.

stadtmobil Rhein-Neckar is the regional car sharing provider in the Rhine-Neckar region and offers its approximately 15,000 customers over 800 cars in 37 municipalities. The vehicles are decentralized at around 270 car sharing stations. stadtmobil relieves cities of car traffic and enables a sustainable and flexible mobility mix. In doing so, stadtmobil puts the common good before profit maximization, as required by the German constitution.
