Parking in Worms - drive in instead of driving around

Due to renovation work, the parking garage headquarters of Parkhausbetriebs GmbH Worms will be closed from Friday, January 17, 2025, up to and including Monday, January 20, 2025.

Parkhausbetriebs GmbH Worms and stadtmobil Rhein-Neckar are launching a car sharing cooperation. From September 16, 2024, an innovative and environmentally friendly mobility solution will be available to users of the multi-storey parking lots in Worms: A car sharing vehicle will be provided exclusively in the parking garage at the cathedral.

Commuters who use Worms main station as a hub in the direction of Mainz, Frankfurt and Mannheim during the Riedbahn closure can park at a reduced rate with a special parking ticket in the Park+Ride parking garage at the station.

The multi-storey parking lot at the theater in Worms is now using pioneering lighting technology to improve safety and sustainability. The introduction of LED lighting equipped with motion detectors not only increases energy efficiency, but also improves the safety of parking garage users.

Barrier-free and ticketless parking system in Worms from 15 January Worms/Munich, 12 January 2023: The city of Worms is digitizing the "Parkhaus am Dom" parking lot. Peter Park System GmbH is installing its barrierless and ticketless parking management system there. In future, drivers will be able to park easily and seamlessly thanks to license plate recognition - without having to stop in front of barriers. The parking time is calculated automatically using data protection-compliant license plate recognition. The new solution replaces a barrier system that is prone to repairs.
