On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the electric vehicle charging stations in the parking garage near the cathedral will unfortunately be unavailable all day. This is due to modernization work: The existing wall boxes will be replaced and connected to the EWR AG data network. Work will begin as early as Monday afternoon, which is why the affected parking spaces will be closed off in advance.

Due to construction work to install a photovoltaic system in the parking garage at the cathedral, parking capacity will be reduced from March 9 to April 17, 2026, as levels 11 and 12 will be closed. Due to the resulting reduction in available parking spaces, multi-day tickets will not be available in the parking garage at the cathedral during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience and recommend using the nearby parking garages "Das Wormser" or "Am Theater." Thank you for your understanding.

At the end of last year, Parkhausbetriebs GmbH completed its planned conversion of the lighting in the Park & Ride parking garage to modern LED technology with motion sensors. The use of energy-efficient lighting not only significantly reduces electricity consumption, but also makes a further contribution to climate protection. The measure was funded by the Municipal Investment Program for Climate Protection and Innovation (KIPKI).

We are delighted to be able to offer our visitors even more convenience from now on! Since 01.11.2025, Katharina Quell, owner of Bomal, has been operating modern snack vending machines in our parking garages - in the parking garage at the cathedral and in the parking garage at the theater.

Parkhausbetriebs GmbH Worms closed the 2024 financial year with a significantly improved result. The net loss for the year was reduced from 744,698 euros in the previous year to 493,393 euros - an improvement in earnings of around 251,000 euros. This shows that the extensive investments in digitalization, convenience and sustainability are already bearing their first economic fruit.

The underground parking garage "Das Wormser" will be closed from 11.06.2025 from 12:00 noon until 13.06.2025 16:00 noon due to cleaning work. We ask our customers to use our other parking garages "Am Dom", "Am Theater" or "P+R am Bahnhof" for parking during this time. From 14.06.2025, the underground car park "Das Wormser" will be accessible again as usual.

Due to renovation work, the parking garage headquarters of Parkhausbetriebs GmbH Worms will be closed from Friday, January 17, 2025, up to and including Monday, January 20, 2025.
